    The Powermatic 3520B Woodworking Lathe retains all the features of classic Powermatic lathes--including a sliding headstock, electronic variable-speed control, and a spindle lock--plus some great innovations. To name just a few, a digital RPM readout makes it a snap to keep track of your speed. With the 3520B, you'll get classic reliability and advanced technology--the best of both worlds to help you handle your most important jobs. Versatile to Suit a Range of Projects With wide-ranging capabilities, the Powermatic 3520B is ideal for both novice users and seasoned veterans. Incredibly adaptable, the Powermatic 3520B features a 20-inch swing and 34-1/2 inches between the centers to accommodate a huge range of project sizes. For additional versatility, the included pin can be screwed into the spindle housing to provide up to 24 indexing positions for drilling hole patterns or routing flutes and other equally spaced decorative finishes.   The 3520B lathe is currently out of production. Using available parts i.e 2020B Lathe, 2HP, 1 or 3PH, 220V 1792020 and the addition of an 18" tailstock extension an overall bed length of 38" is achieved vs 34.5" for the discontinued 3520B .

    Powermatic 3520C Lathe, 1353001

    The Powermatic 3520C is the fourth evolution of the time honored lathe with many new and improved features. The 3520C has retained all the features of the prior models such as the sliding headstock, electronic variable speed with low and high speed ranges, the spindle lock, digital RPM readout, and a laser etched quill that is self-ejecting. The enhanced features include a movable control box for maximum versatility, adjustable riser blocks for 6 inches or more of height adjustment, and an increased weight of 726 LBS (814 LBS with the bed extension). Additional features include a new ergonomic spindle lock design, a digital indexing readout, an Anti-rotation tailstock key for smoother operation, a set of dead centers which hold a spindle for visual comparison, a two position mount for the optional bed extension, and a sliding hammer knockout rod with brass tip.
