We took our rock-solid 2 HP, 10" table saw platform and added both a blade guard and cabinet dust collection system for the ultimate in clean operation. The easy-glide, two-position fence system quickly adjusts to rip narrow workpieces. The clear blade guard features built-in dust collection and a quick-release system for fast and easy guard and spreader/riving knife changeovers. The production class Powermatic DDS-237 Dual Drum Sander that is loaded with features. A 10HP motor drives the dual steel drums, which have a hard durometer rubber coating to ensure a flat, mar free finish. Independently adjustable rear drum makes fine tuning easy. A heavy cast iron table incorporates four solid jackscrews with chain drive timing to keep it level at all times. The heavy-duty poly conveyor belt provides a positive grip on the stock. The 1/4HP feed motor is coupled to a two-speed forward/reverse gearbox that will sand 8 and 12 surface feet per minute. The heavy steel cabinet provides vibration free sanding, with plenty of storage space underneath. -

The large 11-3/4" x 48" table on the OES9138 oscillating edge sander travels a full 8" in vertical height to accommodate most woodworking pieces. It will also tilt negative 5° and out to positive 45°. The cast iron platen is a generous 48" x 9-1/2" and covered with graphite for production sanding, offering super support and cooler running to extend belt life. With 24 oscillations per minute you can use the entire belt face without burning. A 3HP motor powers the belt and runs a large gearbox to provide the oscillating action. The entire head pivots on a massive shaft with two sealed ball bearings for trouble-free performance. Dual dust collection ports keep the work area clean and extend the life of your abrasive belt. -
