The Bosch GEX33-5 5 In. Multi-Hole Random Orbit Sander/Polisher features the ability to use virtually any brand of sandpaper on the market because of the multi-hole design. The sander still maintains optimum dust extraction to help ensure better quality of the finished workpiece’s surface. It also provides 2x sandpaper life due to increased efficiency. Its microfilter dust system filters fine dust as small as a 1/2 micron in diameter. The tool features a solid die-cast aluminum gear housing with exclusive dual-bearing pad mount, for less vibration. The variable-speed dial allows the user to match the speed of the sander to the workpiece and task, from 4,500 to 12,000 orbits per minute (opm). To ensure a strong grip of the disc while in use, it employs a hook-and-loop disc attachment system. The Dust Sentry uses adjustable Infrared Sensing Technology* to detect when the material in the drum has reached a custom preset fill-level. Once this level is reached, the Sentry flashes a bright red strobe light that can be mounted anywhere within 8ft of the drum. This lets you know exactly when the container needs to be emptied, taking the guesswork out of dust collection.
